A night filled with free craft beer samples from Pompano’s own breweries, live music by local bands, food trucks, art and more! Celebrate the New Year at Old Town Untapped in Downtown Pompano Beach featuring live music by Yardij and the dedication of the newest mural to paint the walls of downtown!
The festivities begin at 6pm with streets lined with vendors selling uniuqe gifts, food trucks, and of course FREE craft beer samples from all of Pompano Beach’s local breweries including the newest edition – Broski Ciderworks!

MURAL UNVEILING CEREMONY:
A meticulously detailed hand- painted mural by South Florida Artist Carlos Inocente Gonzalez will be unveiled Friday January 6th at 6:15 pm by the City of Pompano Beach Public Art Committee during Old Town Untapped. This Free event is located is in the heart of Downtown Pompano Beach, at Bailey Contemporary Arts (BaCA) – 41 N.E 1st Street, on Friday January 6th, from 6-9PM. The mural location is in the alley behind the building.
Titled “Old Town”, the 98 feet wide hand painted mural, depicts a timeline of images inspired by archive photographs, existing landmarks and historic sites throughout the City. The artist arranged the images in a fantastic collageof vivid colors telling a story and linking the past, the present, and a brilliant future. The Public Art Committee selected Mr. Gonzalez’ design proposal from the Old Town Mural Program competition.
Old Town Untapped is a monthly craft beer and arts festival hosted by the Pompano Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) and features free samples of local beers craftedby breweries in Pompano Beach’s emerging craft beer scene. In addition the streets of Old Town are lined with food trucks, artists, crafters and interactive art. Inside BaThe event run monthly from 6:00 to 9:00 PM first Friday of the month, featuring free craft beer samples from local breweries, live music, food trucks and art. Inside BaCA, guests can grab some locally roasted coffee at Blooming Bean Coffee Shop and walk through the galleries wopith rotating art exhibits each month.

The whole family is welcome to compete in a variety of “Olympic” backyard games for bronze, Silver and of course GOLD! Plus listen to live music by Casey Raines, check out the Swimming with Narcissus exhibition in BaCA, purchase unique art and wares from select artists and vendors, and sample local craft brews by Bangin’ Banjo, 26 Degrees Brewing and the Hopaholics Homebrew Club, enjoy Biergarten bites by Checkers Old Munchen and Kingshead Pub and enjoy delicious artisan crafted sandwiches, desserts and more at Food Truck Row!
