On May 27th, we’re groovin’ with Roosevelt Collier, pedal steel guitarist playing in the sacred steel tradition. Soft-spoken by nature, South Florida-bred Roosevelt Collier does his hollering on his instrument. Collier has jammed with heavy-hitters such as Allman Brothers Band, Umphrey’s McGee, Los Lobos and Perpetual Groove. “The Dr.” leaves an indelible mark on listeners, flooring audiences with his soulful, lightning-fast slide work on the pedal steel. When Collier takes the stage and rocks and wails, you can’t help but groove and move.
On June 24th, Grab your dancin’ shoes – this month’s theme is Sock Hop! Our retro-cool rock ‘n roll courtesy of Otis Cadillac will have you twisting and jiving before you can say “Arthur Fonzarelli.” The Otis Cadillac and the El Dorados R&B Revue is an 11 piece band that takes you way back to the R&B revues of the late 50s and early 60s. They recreate the atmosphere and energy that gave birth to rock ‘n roll in that era. The band chooses eclectic and diverse material exposing the talents of its band members.
Stay for dinner! We’ve got goodies for both veggie and meat lovers – mouthwatering food truck dishes from Bruno’s and Veggie Xpress food trucks! And who says you can’t have dessert? Indulge in cotton candy, Italian ice and other treats courtesy of Pompano Beach restaurant Spanx the Hog.
