Celebrate green living at our fun, family-friendly Earth Day Festival on Saturday, April 7, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Sawgrass Sanctuary Park, located at 237 North New River Circle in Sunrise. The City’s Earth Day celebration will feature a Tree-Planting Ceremony in commemoration of Arbor Day; a Kids’ Corner with children’s activities, bounce houses, face painting, arts and crafts and more; handcrafted goods; fantastic food and beverage vendors including food trucks, non-profit exhibitors and educational displays to help you greenify your daily routine.
In keeping with the event’s conservation theme, the first 1,500 attendees will receive a free reusable water bottle. Refill your bottle throughout the day at the Festival’s complementary water stations.
LIVE MUSIC SCHEDULE
11:30 a.m. – The Crossthread Band – Rock, country, funk, and rhythm and blues
1:30 p.m. – KooKooz – Rock from the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s
