K9 Fun Day

Gather your friends, family, coworkers and your dogs, and join us for the Chain of Love Abandoned Animals Rescue – Walk in the Woods – K9 Fun Day!  Come on out and support a great cause while enjoying a walk with friends and neighbors through an absolutely beautiful 1.3 mile course through the woods of Tree Tops Park in Davie. Assisting the community has never been so easy or fun. Set your own personal goal and show your commitment to our cause!

Luring, Face painting, Doggy tattoos and More!

In addition to the 1.3 mile Walk in the Woods, a full day of interactive demonstrations by different clubs such as luring, agility and much more will take place between 10am and 4pm.  A marketplace will feature unique vendors perfect for holiday gifts for your favorite dog lover and delicious food trucks.  There will be a fun zone for dogs to play off lead with cool down pools.  Exciting raffles will be available. Prizes will be offered to registered walkers collecting the most pledges

Every registered walker will receive a goody bag filled with great gifts (while they last), a special event bandana for their dog.

You can make a huge difference within the community by collecting donations to support lifesaving efforts helping homeless dogs. Seeking sponsorships + donations is not required for registrants but, is highly encouraged. Check into matching gift programs with your employer.

Southwest Ranches Parks Foundation presents a Classic Car & Truck Show and Country Fair. Register your sports car, classic roadster, custom truck, or antique vehicle at Pre-registration is $20 and $40 for V.I.P Location. Registration at the day of the event increases to $25 and $50 for V.I.P Location. $1,000 1st Prize, $500 2nd & $250 3rd; Top 40 “Best of” Awards. The event is free for the viewing public. It all takes place Saturday, November 18th at Rolling Oaks Park in Southwest Ranches starting at 11am. Hosted by Rockin Rich. Food trucks and fun for the whole family.

Eats and Beats November
Grab your lawn chairs, blankets and appetite because the City of Parkland is, once again, hosting Eats ‘N Beats, a series of monthly outdoor concerts with Food Trucks standing by at the Pine Trails Amphitheatre. The First concert of 2017 takes place on Saturday, January 14 from 5:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. with not one but two local bands on the huge Amphitheatre stage.  Experience a touch of country and rock ‘n roll each month as popular local bands and tributes to your favorite ones take turns entertaining as the sun sets over the horizon at Pine Trails Park, located at 10555 Trails End in Parkland, FL.
