Flagler Village Block Party

Head over to Peter Feldman Park on the Saturday and Sunday of each month for a day filled with food, entertainment and local vendors with a complete schedule of unique activities each month.  This family friendly cultural event has something for everyone from 11am till 5pm on the first weekend of month beginning April 7th and 8th, 2018.

  • Shopping! Pop-up merchants and artists featuring a vast array of artsy, crafty, funky, and fashionable works

City of Sunrise Earth Day

Celebrate green living at our fun, family-friendly Earth Day Festival on Saturday, April 7, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Sawgrass Sanctuary Park, located at 237 North New River Circle in Sunrise.  The City’s Earth Day celebration will feature a Tree-Planting Ceremony in commemoration of Arbor Day; a Kids’ Corner with children’s activities, bounce houses, face painting, arts and crafts and more; handcrafted goods; fantastic food and beverage vendors including food trucks, non-profit exhibitors and educational displays to help you greenify your daily routine.

In keeping with the event’s conservation theme, the first 1,500 attendees will receive a free reusable water bottle. Refill your bottle throughout the day at the Festival’s complementary water stations.


11:30 a.m. – The Crossthread Band – Rock, country, funk, and rhythm and blues
1:30 p.m. – KooKooz – Rock from the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s

No coolers, pets or bicycles will be allowed in the park during the Festival. However, dedicated bicycle parking will be available. For more information, please call the Leisure Services Department: (954) 747-4600.

Friday Night Tunes

Enjoy a free concert series with a broad range of musical varieties! Friday Night Tunes takes place on select Fridays from 7 to 10 p.m. at Joseph C. Carter Park, located at 1450 W. Sunrise Boulevard. Bring your chairs, picnic blankets, and snacks to relax under the stars. From jazz to pop, Friday Night Tunes has it all!
